About Johan van Lingen

TransformX founder and Managing Member, Johan van Lingen is an experienced and dynamic senior People Practice practitioner and business strategy facilitator with over 25 years’ experience as Head of Human Resources (20 years) in the Financial Services and Manufacturing industry- across products, channels, segments and operations. He was at the later stages of his corporate career also responsible for Operation strategy execution design and process “Lean” management within the financial industry. He obtained an Honors Degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of Pretoria in 1990 where after he specialized in Organization Transformation and Business Strategy with registration as OD Professional at the OD Institute (OHIO – USA)

He successfully helped HR practitioners in the past 18 years to improve their customer interface, quality of delivery and effectiveness through integrated people process/practice thinking. Further to this, Johan is experienced in Business strategy facilitation and architecture design to help organisations put their strategy into action, with specific focus on people optimization, effectiveness and high business performance engagement. Johan also have managed business process engineering as Head: Strategy and Execution within the Banking industry and understand the interdependencies of business architectures and its success to optimized people performance.

About TransformX – Current Consultancy owned business (Est. 2010)

Johan started in 2010 a business consultation business with the purpose to use his skills and experienced, gained over the years to help businesses to simplify their business execution. TransformX primary offering present business support in leadership development and coaching, HR practices and integrated process application, business strategy facilitation and business performance and execution through process and people architecture design. We also have a passion to position internal HR functions as a business value proposition, adding value to the business bottom line. We have successfully build and implemented HR value chains and processes through outcome based HR soluions.

We apply a Performance Consultation approach through which we create a partnership with business. We analyses, interpret and simplify business Human Capital processes and dynamics. Team1

Johan holds and Masters in Organisation Transformation and Industrial Psychology and is an experienced business performance consultant with over 20 years’ experience in Business Strategy Formulation, Transformation and Change / Culture Management and all Human Capital processes and practices. He has over 15 years experience at HR Executive and Board level. He was instrumental in various organisation restructuring and delayering processes within the financial and insurance industries. He fulfilled senior HR positions within the manufacturing and financial Industries with a proven track record in organisational transformation nationally and select international countries.

Conrad holds a Masters in Leadership and Organisational Change. He is a registered Organisation Development and transformation specialist at the OD Institute in OHIO, USA. He has in-depth experience in a wide range of leadership development and organisational transformation people change and organisation culture change interventions. His areas of specialty include compiling and implementing leader led business transformation. Conrad has worked on the design and implementation of large scale transformation interventions within various large organisations in the mining and manufacturing and financial sector in South Africa.

Sherwin holds a B Tech Human Resources with a Senior Leadership programme certificate in London. He has over 25 years’ experience in various industries with most within the Mining, Energy and Banking industries. He commenced his Human Resources career in the Gold Mining industry in 1990 where he spent over 10 years and then had a short stint with a HR Consulting company, followed by 4 years spent with Anglo American Platinum, 5 years at Shell and the last career stretch Absa Bank.  His expertise lies within HR value chain management with specialist skills in Remuneration and Reward.
